“The overall set up of the building was very cool. Loved how the rooms were set apart from the main area, in our case, through an outdoor walkway. And what a great common area inside and outside on the deck! The deck overlooked the countryside. The breakfast options provided were wonderful and we felt well taken care of. The decor of the building and rooms was truly unique, loved the white stucco, open beams and coloured glass bead designs! Very comfortable, clean and accommodating stay.”

“Our stay at Cala Lodge was an absolute delight! What a very special place Francisco and family have created! We loved staying in the Mathilda House. It was perfect for our family of 5, ages 14-82, nestled in the cloud forest with floor to ceiling windows. Kitchen is tiny but equipped enough for guests' needs. Reception staff is very helpful and will advise and organize everything you need during your stay in Monteverde.
